Hexxi is inspired by our beloved snowflakes. "Hex" represents the six sides of a traditional snowflake, the double "xx" hints at the female chromosome, and an "i" for some added flare; No two snowflakes are the same and no two Hexxi jackets are the same. Completely customizable and built to function, Hexxi jackets boat unique lines inspired by the ones you carve.
Here you will find a representation of the Hexxi brand and a look book to follow.
Where a large portion of my small business experience comes from. I was hired in 2013 to do a full brand redesign. We came up with the concept of putting real people on our packaging, highlighting people who embody Picky Bars values: Being picky about what you put in your body and your lifestyle, enjoying what you do, working hard, and not taking anything too seriously. For three years I was responsible for all visual assets, a website redesign and all marketing materials. Throughout my time at Picky Bars they grew into many small and large retailers such as REI and Trader Joe's, and are continuing to grow into a well known sport-based energy bar.
Palate: A Coffee Bar
A local hot spot for the best coffee and friendly atmosphere. back in 2014 they were looking to update their logo from it's whimsical state to a concept that spoke to the double meaning of their name "palate"; your taster and the material used to build out their space. The result was a versatile logo that can be "built" out in multiple ways (just like their pallets), two, three or four boards to fit best in any environment.
A conceptual packaging design project. Enhance is meant to be an antioxidant powder that can be added to any beverage. The logo is the middle letter A enhanced with design elements drawn from many fruits and vegetables with antioxidant properties.
A full wedding package created for the Kreger's. Seamless design elements from the RSVP to the invite to the bachelorette party to the wine labels.

Logo and brand system created for a business providing training and coaching recourses for endurance athletes in Bend, Oregon. Their values involve working hard and smart, pooling knowledge from multiple disciplines, and not being afraid to do activities outside of your main endurance sport. We went with a clean, stackable, color-combo friendly system. The multiple trees representing the outdoors and all of them moving in the same direction toward a common goal.
